Trent is a Client Service Associate at Barrett Financial, where he supports advisors and clients with a detail-oriented and analytical approach focused on accuracy, communication, and responsiveness.  He graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Business and has had a longstanding interest in finance, which he began developing through both academic and leadership experience.  While at WWU, he served as Associated Students Business Director, managing a multi-million dollar budget and representing students on the University Fee Committee.  This role provided hands-on experience in financial oversight, budgeting, and organizational decision-making.

Earlier in life, he lived abroad in Sumatra, Indonesia, where he attended an international school, an experience that broadened his perspective and adaptability.  He also worked two summers in Alaska on a commercial fishing boat, where he developed discipline, teamwork, and a strong work ethic in a physically demanding environment.

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, running, hiking, playing guitar, and cooking.

What is your favorite vacation spot?

I would have to say Bali.  I really like the mix of beautiful beaches, great food, and the unique atmosphere you get from its temples and culture.

What is your favorite spot in Skagit Valley?

It would have to be the top of Washington Park.  I grew up going there, and it remains one of my favorite spots in Skagit Valley.  The sunsets there are consistently stunning, and the view is something I continue to appreciate evert time I visit.

What part of Barrett Financial makes you most excited?

I am most excited about being part of a growing team at Barrett Financial that genuinely focuses on helping clients make informed financial decisions.  I also really value the collaborative environment and the chance to continue learning the industry while supporting both advisors and clients in a meaningful way.
